The Brief & Vision
Mumbai Jogeshwari is a locality in the western suburbs of Mumbai, India. It is situated between Andheri and Goregaon and is part of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). Jogeshwari is well-connected to other parts of Mumbai through various modes of transportation, including local trains, buses, and autorickshaws. The key features of this growing suburb has an establishment of a mix of residential buildings, together with some commercial entities as Jogeshwari offers a range of shopping options, local markets, and small eateries, making it convenient for residents to fulfill their everyday needs.
Jogeshwari has good connectivity to other parts of Mumbai, thanks to the Jogeshwari railway station, which is served by both Western and Harbour lines of the Mumbai Suburban Railway and its close proximity to the airport.
With the growing demand for commercial and office spaces, along with the expansion of the owner’s company, the brief was to design commercial office tower with landscaped parks and features to respond to the surroundings and open up the entrance area plaza to enhance pedestrian circulation.
Conceptual Approach
The Corporate Office development was conceived around a concept of three linked towers, representing the familial relationship of the owners. The variation in building mass, the interstitial spaces between the buildings and their physical links explore the relationship of the business founders. The structural and material expression relates to the business heritage of the owners whose expertise lies in the construction of large scale civil engineering projects globally.
The project will be LEED accredited and is one of the first projects in India to incorporate a naturally ventilated car park. Sky gardens, vertical landscape and landscaped plazas ensure an environmentally responsible development.
