Conceptual approach
With considerations the natural terrain in mind, the extent of the underground car park is minimised with a raised landscape podium that provides a vehicle-less environment to the development that integrates as a key clubhouse amenity. The design of the landscape podium derive from the character of Pune, with linear plots of land from agriculture and meandering rivers dominating the sky view. The roof of the blocks are utilised by locating amenities that require privacy there.
The Brief & Vision
Punawale is a developing suburb in the Pimpri-Chinchwad area and is a part of the Pune Metropolitan Region. The locality is advantageously placed along the Mumbai Highway (NH-48), enjoying proximity with Hinjewadi IT hub. Both, smooth connectivity and proximity to job avenues are main factors driving real estate development in the locality of Punawale. With many multi-storey apartment projects getting developed in this emerging locality, the brief was to design a mixed development that comprises of 530 units of 2BHK & 3BHK residential apartments and 128,268sqft of retail on a 13.6 acre land.
