Conceptual Approach
The approach to the master planning of the row houses, water bodies and MEP spaces are planned within the vastu basics with the orientation of each villa carefully avoid southwards entries. The design intent for this development was to minimise the road and traffic, with garden and parks connecting the villas all the way to the clubhouse and communal amenities. Material treatment of the access ways was detailed was intended to ensure that they were seen as driveways leading to the houses rather than roads. This in turn resulted in the house accommodation being turned placing the primary living spaces at what would traditionally be considered the rear of the house.
Living spaces spill out onto either a private garden or a communal garden connecting to the Club and swimming pool. This ensured that the open green spaces could be used away from the internal traffic and resulted in a larger area of open garden space.
