Conceptual Approach
Arrival, retail and dining facilities are significantly expanded and improved with the intervention of a dramatic dia-grid dining structure taking advantage of the view of the Opera House.
The language of the dia-grid structure, derived from the European conservatories of the 18th and 19th Centuries with the form taking reference from the may tre dan, woven baskets of northern Vietnam.
The Brief and Vision
Hilton in Hanoi is a landmark property neighbouring the elegant Hanoi Opera House. The project involved a complete renovation with the aim of maximizing the potential of its location and illustrious neighbour, the Opera House.
