The Brief

The Cooum River has been integral to the history and development of Chennai. Historically, it served as a critical water source for agriculture, trade, and daily life.

AFW was tasked to design a mixed development comprising of a 5 star hotel and high end luxury residential apartments fronting the Cooum River in Chennai. This was intended to be the first Taj branded luxury residential product.

 Within the integrated development, the hotel is designed to accommodate 202 keys with Convention facilities to host MICE events. There are 151 Residential apartments that comprises of 3BHK, 4BHK, Sky Villas and Clubhouse amenities.

The landscape and ground floor podium level is designed to integrate and connect with the rejuvenation of the river.

Swimming pools and tennis courts are designed on to the roof top space for both the hotel and residences, elevating the presence and providing exclusivity for the guests and residents.
